Kettlebell 101

Kettlebells are an amazing and interactive way to learn how to handle weight!

In this class we will work on learning how to safely lift and carry.

Have you ever hurt yourself picking up a bag of dog food?  Your grandkid? A gallon of milk?  A paperclip?

There is a certain threshold that your body will say "no way".  The goal of fitness it to bring that threshold higher and higher so that everyday loads are no problem for you.

This is the point of functional fitness, to make you fit enough to function in all of the activities that you enjoy!

We are here to help you raise your fitness threshold in a supportive and fun environment.

What you'll learn

If you are familiar with kettlebells then these terms will be familiar to you:

  • Get ups

  • Cleans

  • Snatches

  • Goblet Squats

  • Deadlifts

If you are NOT familiar with kettlebells that is OK - this class is perfect for you!! 

 

This is a rehab focused environment where we will teach you how to manage weight and become stronger in the most functional way possible.
